IOCL CECS SCPwD
CECS in collaboration with Skill Council for Persons with Disability (SCPwD) trained 75 Candidates with Locomotor Disability in Data Entry Operator Job role. This program was implemented by SCPwD, which is incepted under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Confederation of India Industry (CII) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), to fulfil the mission of mainstreaming ‘Persons with Disability’ (PwD). The training was conducted at Cottolengo Vocational Rehabilitation Centre (CVRC), a training partner affiliated with SCPwD. The program is supported by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) Kerala State office under their Corporate Social Responsibility. It marks a new beginning for the Certified candidates and a new chapter in the inclusion journey of Indian Oil Corporation. This initiative is spearheading a wave of change in India. By equipping persons with Disabilities with necessary skills to become productive members of the society. The program is transforming them from being perceived as liabilities to assets.
