Abhi
Abhi is 20 years old, a speech and hearing-impaired person. He was born and brought up in Kasargod , Kerala. Soon after completing his basic education, he tried to find a job and came to know about our Cottolengo Vocational Rehabilitation Research Centre, Nilambur. He joined Pankh course and underwent 45 days of training on computer, Life skills, retail and basic English. He has utilized our hostel facility, revealing himself, a very obedient and very calm person.
After two weeks training in Cottolengo provided by Trrain, he got job as a security in Nexus Forum Mall, Mangalore. Abhi is working very well. It’s good to see that a deaf person, who was neglected and was searching for jobs, owing to our partnership program, now is happy and dreams for his next level of life
