-CVRRC Achieves Another Milestone- Inauguration of Certificate Courses in Wood polishing, Retail Associates & Data Entry
Thachan: CVRRC introduced Certificate Course in wood polishing, which has been officially approved and supported by the EnableIndia. This course will equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to support individuals with physical, mental, or developmental challenges. Thachan is a pilot and at loco project and in this pilot project 45 persons with developmental and intellectual disability will be trained in wood polishing training under carpentry trade. Project Thachan was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Elio Mo in the presence of Sri. Abdul Vahab M.P on 28 June 2022. We are projecting to train 500 persons with developmental and intellectual disability within five years of span. We partner with business to help our trained peoples get jobs, become valued employees, and contribute to their families and societies. It is the first initiative in India for persons with intellectual and developmental disability to provide job in rural area and the candidates are placed in teak furniture shops of Nilambur.
